Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my daddy up in Heaven.  How I miss you and thought about you all day long.  It is a hard day to get through knowing that you are not around to wish a Happy Father's Day too, but at least you are in my thoughts!

Tom got to enjoy a little bit of time with his father today. We all drove down to see where his name is etched into the Memorial Wall of those who served from his county. He is very proud of this as are we! 

We then drove home to be with the rest of the kiddos for Father's Day.  We got home and Tom grilled some pork chops, fried some potatoes with cheese and bacon, and had cottage cheese for a nice dinner.  All in all, it was a wonderful Father's Day weekend.
