Sound Asleep

I had plans for the afternoon to pick Ally up from school and then wait for Kyle to come home while she was napping and then go out for groceries. Well she fell asleep before I made it home so I took her to Walmart sleeping. She slept the entire 45 minutes that I grocery shopped and put groceries everywhere but on her! It was quite funny, I was surprised at some of the dirty looks I got though! Is it that been to take her out like this?

The FFA Barn

So we all decided to go to the FFA barn in Wyle and visited Maggie! Ally loves the farm animals and does a great job of copying the lambs!

We have been driving all over today doing errands and enjoying the beautiful weather. It is 75 degrees. All of our windows are open and airing out the house. Ally was in a great mood today when she went to school and her teacher even said, "She has been in a great mood today for some reason and bouncing up and down!" That was good news to hear! Moods lately have been up and down all the time!

So I learned how to do applique with my embroidery machine! I am so excited. It's like having a new toy to play with! Lucky for Ally that mom now can do this! So cute!

What a day! Ally pretty much bounced off the wall the entire day! She wanted every second of my attention from playing basketball on the desk, to pillow fight, to chasing throught the house! I was so glad when she fell asleep.

I picked Steven up from being gone all week in San Antonio for the FFA show. Maggie came in last place unfortunately, but I guess the judge wasn't being that fare.

What a Beautiful Day

It was a very gorgeous day today. It was around 70 degrees and warm enough for me to be able to open the windows. It was so nice to smell the fresh air and hear the sounds of outside. Ally was able to go out and play for awhile so that got some energy out. I planted some lilies and some lavender flowers in pots. We will see how they grow.

Embroidery is done early today. I had to do Steven's FFA shirts for Houston. They turned out very nicely! As time goes by, my embroidery skills are getting better and better!

Wow, what sad news today. Whitney Houston dies at age 48! She was such a great singer that I grew up listening to. Life can go by in such a blink of an eye.

Our family is suffering from a recurring cold that keeps circling our home! Poor Steven is very sick and his immune system is so messed up from all of his stomach and kidney issues that now he has a sinus infection too. Poor Ally sounds horrible in the mornings and at nights with congestion in her chest. I am absolutely miserable with a sinus headache and sinus pressure!

On a better note, we got our taxes submitted today electronically. We're not getting back what we usually get back, but something is better than nothing at this point! Steven's truck was sold in a matter of a day due to the thing falling apart too much. Jessica was able to get some repairs done to her car so that it will run a bit smoother.

I had Zoey get her rabbies shot today so that I can have her groomed on Monday. Molly got some medicine to help bring up some hairballs that are clogging her throat.

I am trying to think of some good ideas for Valentine's Day! I just hope at this point I feel better!

Cold attacking home again

Ever since we returned home from Michigan after Christmas, the cold is continuing to circle through our home! Tom has been on medicine for a week and is getting to feel better again. Ally ihas been coughing and not sleeping through the night for a week now. Steven woke up this morning not being able to talk due to this cold. He now has a doctor's appointment this afternoon. I have a touch of the cold too, but it isn't as bad as everyone else thank goodness. I need a prayer said for our family to get everyone back on the road to recovery.

I set Ally down out of the car at Preschool this morning. She went running as fast she could run to Mrs. Puckett and fell and skinned her nose and forehead!
A hard day, she fell asleep eating Doritos!

SuperBowl 64

Well I never watch football, but wanted to see the Superbowl commercials and half time show. The game was a good one. I was hoping the Giants would win and just at the end of the game they pulled it off.

As for commercials, the Dorito commercial with the dog by far beat out all of the rests. The dog is buring what looks like a collar. His owner goes to see what he is doing. They then show a picture of a missing cat that is posted on a pole. The dog shows the owner a bag of Doritos as a bribe to not tell on him! At the end of the commercial, the guy has eaten all of his Doritos. He looks at the front door and here his dog offering him another whole bag! Way too cute! who says spending little money can't be the smartest of people in making ads!

>As for the half time commercial, wasn't to impressed with Madonna. She looks great and all, but just wasn't that fascinated with her show!

Zoey

Our poor kitten Zoey who is ten months old on the 6th of this month is in heat. The poor little kitten keeps walking and chirping through the house. I feel so bad for her. We want her to be over a year old before having her have kittens. We got her to have to have fun with and love, but also to have kittens to sell since these kittens sell for over $500 each one.

Ally has caught another cold this winter. I guess that is what happens when little one's go back to school. Tom had his doctor call in some medicine today for him. He has a sinus infection going. Steven still feels like crap. Kyle has had a headache and upset stomach off and on for the last three days. I am just having problems with headaches and no sleep.

I hope that all of us get feeling better soon!

Ground Hog's Day

Well it's Ground Hog Day and wouldn't you know the ground hog saw his shadow, meaning there is six more weeks of winter in store for us. I have a hard time believing that with all the warm weather around the US, but we will see!

Well we missed Steven's appointment for Tuesday. We will have to figure out what to due with that now. On Wednesday, I finally called the dentist for Kyle getting his braces on his teeth. He was not happy at all about it, but over time decided it wouldn't be that bad to get them and over with sooner than later. I should of had this done a longgggg time again, but oh well!

I received our first book from our other blog. It turned out very, very nice. I am so glad my neighbor told me about it! Blog 2 Book!

It is 75 degrees here in Texas today a beautiful day.

Results

Well Steven had his stomach scoped today and the doctor still found nothing. He took a sample to check for ciliac disease, but that will take a couple of weeks to get the results back. He thinks his stomach may just be impacted so he has a prescription to pick up to see if that relieves his upset stomach.

He is off to a new doctor for his kidneys tomorrow. We are hoping to have this doctor to a less invasive for surgery for his ureter problem.

That is about all for now thank goodness!

Good news for the weekend, all the stuff Steven has had to go through at the doctor this week has came back fine. So now on Monday to scope has stomach.

Animals

This cat of ours "Jake" is such a character. We were all setting and watching the show "Once Upon A Time". It is Ally's routine at bedtime to lay on the floor and fall asleep. We then move her to her bed. Well as you see, Jake decided to come join her on her pillow once she was asleep. Otherwise she would have thrown a fit that the cat was on her pillow.

Steven is still at the hospital doing his barium test that they are doing today. So I am wondering how that is going. I did manage to get Steven's and Kyle's scrapbooks done over the past two days, now on to Ally's. I have three times the pictures that I had for the boys!

It's a beautiful day in Texas and I am off to the shower, then on to take Ally to school, take Kyle his computer thumb drive at school, and then back home to do bills! Yeah!

New Blog

Welcome to our new blog. We hope to have our friends and relatives follow our lives for this next journey on our blog. I just purchased the past blog in book form using blog2Print. I am so excited to get this book back in the mail. I have Ally's first year of pictures in a series of five books from Shutterfly that turned out wonderfully.

Steven is scheduled for a barium test in the morning and then a scope of his stomach on Monday. I really hope to get him feeling better and on the road to recovery. He has lost 32 pounds in the last three months and looks like a skeleton. I need all family and friends to put him on a prayer chain to get him feeling better.

I am wishing my Aunt Pam a very Happy Birthday today. My mom is over at her house helping her do some cleaning.

I am working on scrapbooking the kids first half of the school year pictures and hope that that don't take me a long time. My embroidery is very slow which is good on one hand, but bad on the money front.

We received a huge amount of rain over the past two days and uped our lake by over 2 feet. It still has a good twelve feet to completely fill, so we will also pray for more rain. Also good news is we got all of our tax paperwork in so our tax guy can get it done!
